Minuman Soda, Membunuh Sperma!

Fakta mengejutkan datang dari Universitas Kopenhagen, Denmark. Para peneliti mengungkap bahwa jumlah sperma peminum soda lebih rendah daripada mereka yang menjauhkan diri dari minuman ringan berkarbonasi.

Penelitian dilakukan menanggapi peningkatan konsumsi soda di kalangan remaja Denmark. Kemudian, para peneliti menguji kualitas sperma terhadap 2.500 pria muda. Hasilnya, mereka yang mengonsumsi seliter soda per hari rata-rata memiliki 35 juta sperma per mililiter, sedangkan mereka yang menghindari konsumsi minuman mengandung gula rata-rata memiliki 50 juta sperma per mililiter. Hal ini kemungkinan akibat gaya hidup penikmat soda fanatik yang buruk bagi kesehatan sperma secara keseluruhan.

CANBERRA (SuaraMedia News) – Anda kira Anda tahu semua efek negatif dari merokok? Sebuah penelitian terbaru mengungkapkan bahwa rokok mungkin mengandung jejak darah babi yang bisa sangat “menyinggung” bagi kaum Muslim dan kelompok-kelompok agama lainnya, surat kabar The Australian memberitakan pada hari Selasa (30/3).

Profesor Universitas Sydney, Simon Chapman, merujuk pada penelitian terbaru di Belanda yang mengidentifikasi 185 pemanfaatan industrial dari babi, termasuk menggunakan hemoglobinnya di dalam filter rokok.

Kaum Muslim dan Yahudi dilarang mengkonsumsi daging babi, orang-orang vegan (vegetarian) juga menolak untuk menggunakan produk hewani atau biproduk apa pun.

“Saya rasa ada beberapa penganut taat yang akan menganggap ide bahwa terdapat produk babi di dalam rokok sebagai sesuatu yang menyinggung,” ujar Chapman.

“Komunitas Yahudi jelas menanggapi persoalan ini dengan sangat serius, begitu juga dengan komunitas Muslim, seperti halnya banyak kelompok vegan yang memberikan reaksi serupa.”

Menurut penelitian itu, hemoglobin babi, sebuah protein darah, digunakan di dalam rokok untuk membuat filter lebih efektif dalam menangkap bahan kimia berbahaya sebelum masuk ke paru-paru perokok.

Chapman mengatakan tidak ada cara untuk mengetahui dengan pasti merk apa yang menggunakan hemoglobin babi. Ketika menyusun daftar kandungan produknya, perusahaan rokok mengatakan ada bantuan pemroses yang tidak hadir secara signifikan dan tidak mempengaruhi fungsi produk jadi. Hemoglobin babi jatuh dalam kategori itu dan oleh sebab itu tidak akan dinyatakan jelas dalam daftar.

“Industri tembakau tidak diwajibkan untuk menyatakan bahan-bahan rokok. Mereka mengatakan ‘itu urusan kami’ dan merupakan rahasia dagang.”

“Jika anda seorang perokok dan beragama Islam atau Yahudi maka anda mungkin akan ingin tahu dan tidak ada cara untuk mencari tahu,” ujar Chapman.

Penemuan itu menempatkan lebih dari 100 juta kaum Muslim Arab dalam situasi yang sangat canggung, terutama mempertimbangkan bahwa beberapa fatwa larangan rokok telah dikeluarkan. Informasi baru ini akan membuat larangan-larangan itu menjadi semakin valid bagi kaum Muslim.

Mendiang cendekiawan Saudi, Mohamed bin Saleh al-Uthaymeen, berpendapat bahwa ayat-ayat Al Qur’an mendukung larangan merokok. Ia terutama merujuk pada sebuah ayat yang melarang membuang-buang uang untuk hal yang tidak berguna dan menyebut orang-orang yang melakukannya sebagai pemboros.

“Menurut Islam, uang harus digunakan untuk kebaikan orang atau agama, dan rokok sama sekali tidak menggambarkan hal itu,” ujar fatwa tersebut.

Uthaymeen juga mendasarkan fatwanya pada ayat-ayat Al Qur’an yang melarang kaum Muslim melakukan perbuatan yang dapat menyebebkan pada kematian mereka.

“Merokok menyebabkan penyakit yang fatal seperti kanker dan akhirnya mengarah pada kematian. Sehingga, merokok bertentangan dengan perintah Allah,” ujar fatwa itu menambahkan.

Filter rokok bertujuan mengurangi jumlah asap yang dihirup. Pertama kali ditemukan oleh Boris Aivaz dari Hungaria pada tahun 1925. Rokok berfilter pertama kali diperkenalkan pada tahun 1927.

Pada tahun 1935, sebuah perusahaan Inggris mulai mengembangkan sebuah mesin yang akan memproduksi rokok-rokok berfilter. Tahun 1960an, semua rokok hadir dengan filter.
